Who we are
We partner with agencies to simplify complexity by replacing fragmented vendors with an integrated model that combines finance, compliance, rep payee services, and operational consulting so leaders have consistent information they can rely on.
The result: fewer surprises, clearer decisions, and less stress. Adapt eliminates conflicting guidance and absorbs complexity so leaders can act with confidence.
I/DD service agencies face rising administrative demands, including stricter oversight, increased financial precision, and fiduciary risk. The reality is most lack the capacity to staff the specialized roles needed to manage these critical functions.
Adapt was built to address this structural gap.
The I/DD system does not lack mission; it lacks a sustainable administrative infrastructure. By aligning core administrative functions into a single operating model, Adapt replaces fragmentation with clarity and reactive management with proactive leadership.
Meet Our Founders
Tanner Day
Tanner began his career supporting the I/DD industry through contract drafting and regulatory support, developing an early understanding of the operational, compliance, and workforce challenges faced by HCBS providers. His work expanded into Human Resources and organizational operations, where he earned his SHRM-CP and managed payroll, HR consulting, and process development. Tanner’s experience includes building payroll systems, developing contracts and operational documentation, and helping organizations translate complexity into practical strategies that reduce turnover and support sustainable care teams. At Adapt, he focuses on building scalable frameworks to help providers operate efficiently in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Chandler Menteer
Chandler has spent his career working inside the operational and regulatory realities of the Utah I/DD system. He has held senior leadership roles across state government and provider organizations, with a focus on compliance, quality oversight, operational risk, and system design. His experience spans both the regulatory and provider sides of the system, giving him a practical understanding of how expectations are written, enforced, and experienced by agencies delivering care. His work at Adapt centers on building integrated structures that reduce administrative strain, surface issues earlier, and support sustainable leadership.
